The Mainou Ioanna THERAPY LABORATORY, with Ms. Mainou Ioanna, a speech therapist, as the scientific manager, is located in Skydra, Karaiskaki 2.
The workshop was created in 2014, it is staffed by qualified speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, psychologists and special educators.
It is a modern, friendly therapeutic space created with special attention to be close to the child, the teenager and the family.
Its basic principle is respect for individual characteristics.
Treatment services are offered for the purpose of valid assessment, early intervention and rehabilitation of the difficulties faced by the individual.
The evaluation is carried out with documented tools (weighted tests in the Greek language) ATHENS TEST, LATO, DETROIT VOCABULARY TEST, indicative methods such as SI sensory integration method, PALIN PCI stuttering method, PECS alternative communication method, MAKATON, TEACCH, ABA (mainly for autism ) and valid scientific material. With the use of modern therapeutic methods we aim to deal with the difficulties.
